- Dan Crow for making a lot of freeware code available to the AMT Community. Also thanks for rewriting most of the documentation in a more fluent style; thanks again.
- Mark Chen, for correcting my grammar errors and raising some good questions, please take a look at his web-site it contains some cool QTVR stuff (http://www.reed.edu/~gchen).
- Patrick Soquet, one of the Developers of AMT.
- Jeroen Clarysse, who motivated me to finally write this paper and exchanged some thoughts about this idea.
- The Carl Group, the developers of XMeDIA, without their engine some of these optimisation techniques were only available to AMT PE developers.
- John Sinteur, for the contribution to the tips: general [3] and general [5]
- Jan Costenbader for his optimisation tip on RTF.
- Kate Adams, for her description of the Global Object tip general [8].
- Mark Fleming for making an ftp site (ftp://ftp.ccs.queensu.ca/pub/macintosh/amt2.0/) available for the AMT Community and for the tip sound[1] and some remarks about compression and general[5].
- The guy who designed the Icon's, I just borrowed them from the standard Control Panel Icons.
Anybody who has some useful tips or suggestions please send me your text and I will put your name on this list. But don't forget our target audience; try to make it as clear as possible or maybe use some pictures to explain it.
Whenever I have more time available, I want to create a tutorial title that demonstrates all the problems discussed here. And then step by step correct the problems using the optimisation tips. But I think in the next coming months I won't have much time available, so my hope goes to you readers. If anybody is willing to do this please let me know, you have my support and we can put all the stuff here on our web-site.
Also some of these optimisations are just described and no freeware code is currently available. If someone has the time to make this available, please do and send it to my email address or ask Mark Fleming to put it on his ftp site.
