Macintosh System Requirements:
QuickTime 3 or higher and QuickTime MPEG Extension need to be installed to view the MPEG-1 videos on MacOS.
PowerPC 120mhz recommended.
Windows System Requirements:
When you choose the DirectShow Method (More information: see below) for playing MPEG movies then we highly recommed you include the Windows Media Player Installer, which also install DirectShow. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/)
On Windows 95/98 we recommend you install the DirectX 6.1 (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/) software first. On Windows NT, service pack 3 or later is recommended. MPEG-1 Software decompressors are normaly standard included in these software releases. In case you want MPEG-2 compatibility make sure you install the Drivers of your MPEG-2 video hardware correctly. Always test the MPEG-2 data first with the DVD Player that comes with your DVD hardware card.
Pentium 120mhz recommended
Just as when you install QuickTime, make sure you have installed the latest drivers of your video card, for example in case you are suffering from a white screen in the area of the MPEG Movie element it can be caused by an old driver. Always recommend your users to look at http://www.download.com/pc/cdoor/0,323,0-103,00.html for the latest drivers.
